History, Our Best Teacher

Back when this great country of ours was beginning its fight for independence a group of revolutionaries started dialogue with the British to try and reconcile their differences.  The British Monarchy allowed their judgement to be clouded by their ego and arrogance.  Seems like history is repeating itself.
If you have been following the DTI battle that is going on right now between Amway and the British Government as well as the dispute between Quixtar and a former group of Independent Business Owners, you would see a lot of similarities.  It's ironic that Amway is now playing the part of the British Government of the 1700's and the former IBO's are playing the part of the American Revolutionaries.  The group of IBO's has spent years behind the scene trying to correct a slew of issue's to make the business opportunity better and their suggestions have fallen on deaf ears.  Those IBO's held true to their morals and ethics while being ignored by the very business they were trying to help improve.  Ego and arrogance has again gotten in the way of progress.  While an amiable solution was the goal, the battle lines have now been drawn.  Just like the American Revolutionaries ultimate goal was peace with the British, so to was peace the ultimate goal between the former IBO's and Amway/Quixtar.  Knowing that that may not happen a alternate plan was also put together.
History provides us with the ending of America's Revolution, and soon, history will also record the ending to the Consumer Rebellion and the beginning of the Leadership Revolution.  "Free" enterprise and the entrepreneurial spirit cannot be held back.   Sometimes, enough is enough, and it's time to take a stand.  Our forefathers stood for freedom and so do the forefathers of the TEAM.

Standing For Something

I've heard that if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything.  This really rings true right now in the TEAM vs. Quixtar situation.  For the first time the big "Q" is not only battling in court, they are battling in cyberspace.  Now, they have had internet critics for years, but this is a totally different battle.  But this current battle is not with a disgruntled ex-IBO, it's with an entire TEAM that makes up 40% or so of their North American volume and could very well change the entire way they do business in North America.  The Quixtar PR machine is spinning like crazy and if you are not careful, and if you don't stand for something, it might be very easy to fall for their corporate spin.  Standing for the TEAM cause or fall for the "Q" spin.  You decide.  Judging from all the rumor, hearsay, and opinion flying around the internet, their are a lot of people standing for the TEAM cause.

Stay true to the cause and stay focused on the goal...one million people strong!

Just What Are Founding Fathers

Founding Fathers of the United States, also know as the Fathers of Our Country, the Forefathers, or the Founders, are the political leaders who signed the Declaration of Independence or the United States Constitution, or otherwise participated in the American Revolution as the leaders of the Patriots.  They were opposed by the Loyalists who supported the British Monarchy and opposed independence.

There seems to be a incredible resemblance to the Founding Fathers of the TEAM.  They to are leaders who are standing up to the loyalists who oppose independence.  The TEAM's Founding Fathers are leading a Consumer Rebellion and will go down in history as the leaders of our Consumer Revolution.  A revolution focused on building leaders and providing true opportunity to anyone willing to fight for their families economic freedom.
